Pierre Laru aka Pete is a singer and talented songwriter. He\u2019s blessed \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 with a remarkable voice influenced by the greatest artists (Charlie \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Feathers, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash\u2026).Over the years, he has played \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 with various Rockabilly and Rock & roll bands such as The curfew or \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pete & The Atomics (this band opened a \u201cStray Cats\u201d show during their\u00a0\u00a0\u00a02004 European tour).\u00a0Together with drummer Eric (The Tawny Owls, John Guster, Phil Trigwell),\u00a0\u00a0bass player Laurent (John Guster, also guitar player with Switzerland\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0band The Noisy Boys) and guitarist Manu (who regularly works of the\u00a0 independent French Rock scene), Pete delivers a powerful, unusual and\u00a0 distinctive style and sound.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0recordings on this first CD took place in two different locations: –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The vintage Electrophonic recordings studio near Lyon – The Toe Rag\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0studio in London (where Ronnie Dawson, The Mean Devils, Bop shack \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stompers, Carlos and The Bandidos and The White Stripes have also been\u00a0\u00a0recording).This first album features 15 tracks including several\u00a0 self-penned songs and is an explosive cocktail of Rock & Roll, Blues\u00a0\u00a0 and Vintage soul music.<\/p>\n
