The obscure Felsted label, founded in 1954 in the U.K. and three years later in the U.S., was known primarily for its pop and crooner recordings.<\/strong><\/div>\n
But Felsted has released a considerable number of great rockers.<\/strong><\/div>\n
Bear Family Records\u00ae is the first label to make an effort to detail the history of rockabilly and rock ‘n’ roll of the 1950s and early 1960s on Felsted, a mix of rockabilly, rock ‘n’ roll, doo-wop rockers and rockin’ instrumentals!<\/strong><\/div>\n
Included are the extremely rare singles by Vince Maloy with the real version of ‘Soda Pop’ (on Felsted), LaVern Stovall and by Frank & Jack and The Nightwinds.<\/strong><\/div>\n
13 tracks on the 10″ LP. 3 tracks are available on LP for the first time!<\/strong><\/div>\n
